Cidavia Scott

Cidavia Scott earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adler Graduate School. She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Minnesota-Morris, with minors in sociology and gender, women, and sexual studies (GWSS).

Cidavia’s theoretical orientation centers on individual psychology/Adlerian and Constructive theories. She believes that we are all striving for success and connectedness with others as individuals. Using a holistic lens, she believes in looking at people as a whole- that all parts of a person’s life work together to create a unique individual. She seeks to help clients reconstruct or re-story their lives in a goal-orientated way that puts them in charge of determining their life path. Her integrative approach includes a variety of methods (including mindfulness and wellness), emphasizing each client as an individual.

Cidavia enjoys reading, crocheting, exploring the outdoors with her fiancé, and spoiling her rabbit son in her spare time.

Cidavia is working under the supervision of Kathleen Massmann, LPCC and Board Approved LPCC Supervisor, as she completes her hours toward licensure.
